History
Vincent, formerly "Tony", joined the CPT pride from the Faircloth Zoo in Bolivia, NC. When the facility closed, the 10-year-old tiger needed a home. CPT agreed to step in, and the NC Zoo again provided quarantine and medical evaluation for Vince.

Unfortunately, Vincent found the transport process very stressful, causing CPT staff to speculate he had previous bad experiences with small enclosures. CPT Staff took additional precautions with his arrival, and Vince's first few days at CPT were typically spent pacing the back of his enclosure. Staff and volunteers took extra efforts to respect his space and earn his trust.

Vince still approaches visitors with caution, but these approaches include an investigative chuffle and perhaps a hint of rubbing against the fence.
