Groundbreaking Ceremony
Tuesday, May 9, 2006 4:30pm
The Ground-breaking Ceremony kicked off our new campaign, Rescue Tails, which will support the development of a new 1500 square foot quarantine facility, supervised by a veterinarian. This will allow CPT to realize our immediate goal of opening again to provide a home for additional animals. The new facility is designed to hold up to four animals at any one time, while ensuring that new rescues do not threaten the health and safety of the other 100 animals who CPT already loves and protects.
CPT welcomed Pittsboro mayor Randolph Voller, who turned the first spade of dirt. The ceremony included a brief presentation, an opportunity to view the blueprints and building model, turning the first few spades of dirt, and light refreshments.
The work has already begun! Keep up with the campaign's progress on the Rescue Tails campaign page. Keep up with the building progress on the quarantine progress page.
