Trust in the Future luncheon a success!
November 3, 2007

On November 3rd, CPT hosted their seventh Trust in the Future luncheon at the Fearrington Barn in Pittsboro, NC. The benefit was attended by 114 of CPT's adoptive parents, volunteers, members, donors, and friends and raised over $27,000 in pledges!

Guests at the luncheon enjoyed a custom slideshow and video presentation of CPT's rescued animals and testimonials by volunteer tour guides Pamela Santana and Ellen Dempsey along with their meals. This year, CPT was able to include video from an investigation of exotic animals in private ownership done by the Animal Protection Institute, and featured last year on the television news magazine 20/20.

The Trust in the Future luncheon is designed to create ongoing sustainable income for CPT by inviting guests to join the multi-year giving society "Keepers of the Trust". The luncheons are held each year the first week in May and the first week in November.
