Great Human Race 5K
Run for Tigers on March 29th!

Yes, the Great Human Race is back! Anyone who wants to raise money for the Carnivore Preservation Trust can ask friends, family, and co-workers to sponsor the CPT GHR team as they walk or run a 5K path through downtown Durham (some in costume!).

HOW
Donate: Donate online at Active.com. If you would prefer to mail a check, please make out to VCD/Great Human Race, and list CPT in the memo line. Send to:

Participate: Pick up a your GHR packet at CPT, or email Al Ummatov with a mailing address to receive your packet by mail. Approach your friends, family, and coworkers to sponsor the GHR team. Return your packet with your collected donations to CPT by Monday, March 24th. You do not have to participate in the race in order to raise funds, but feel free to join us in Durham on March 29th for race day!

WHY
This event is facilitated by the Volunteer Center of Durham as a fundraising event for all Triangle nonprofit and public agencies. CPT will receive 85% of the funds collected by our supporters and will gain greater exposure in the Triangle Area. This year our goal is $7000.00.

PRIZES
The Great Human Race’s prizes:

• Anyone who raises $50 or more receives a Great Human Race T-shirt.
• Anyone who raises $100 or more is entered into a door prize drawing to be held the day of the race.

CPT prizes: CPT will also be giving restaurant gift certificates for the top 3 CPT adult fundraisers. For our top youth fundraisers we will have the following prizes:

• 1st – CPT logo T-shirt
• 2nd – Framed CPT photo
• 3rd – CPT screen saver
